Community Programs Manager
Job Summary: The Community Programs Manager leads the Her Health Let’s Talk program, promoting Christ-centered relationships and online safety education through schools, churches, and digital platforms. This role builds community partnerships, coordinates facilitators, and expands outreach while supporting the center’s mission, vision, and core values. This position is a part-time, non-exempt position (up to 37 hours a week).
Primary Responsibilities
Leadership & Ministry:
Demonstrate Christ-centered servant leadership, fostering a culture of harmony, restoration, and reconciliation.
Support and actively promote the mission, vision, core values, and statement of faith of Her Health Women’s Center.
Serve clients, facilitators, and staff with grace, love, and excellence.
Program Development & Implementation:
Evaluate, maintain, and update program materials and resources (scripts, presentations, brochures, laptops, evaluations, etc.).
Develop and maintain a digital presence through podcasts, YouTube videos, virtual classes, and other relevant platforms to reach target audiences.
Build and nurture relationships with schools, administrators, churches, and community organizations.
Schedule, coordinate, and oversee program presentations and presenters.
Shift program delivery to virtual formats (e.g., podcasts, webinars) during public health emergencies.
Facilitator Management:
Recruit, interview, and onboard facilitators for the Her Health Let’s Talk Program in partnership with the DPS and/or Executive Director.
Provide ongoing support, training, and program updates to facilitators.
Program Expansion:
Design and launch an outreach program for clients who receive negative pregnancy tests, focusing on navigating healthy, authentic relationships.
Develop, lead, and organize an annual event and/or events for middle schoolers to educate them about body awareness, identity, and healthy relationships.
Certification & Funding:
Obtain and maintain certification in Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE), with renewal every two years. Research and pursue grant opportunities to fund and grow the program.
Communication & Reporting:
Regularly communicate with the Director of Program Services regarding program needs, challenges, successes, and goals.
Provide input on program strategy, policies, and resource allocation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in human services, education, psychology, nursing, ministry, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in church, ministry, or nonprofit work.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to help develop policies, resolve challenges, and assess program needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, professional organizations, churches, and facilitators.
Skilled in public speaking, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving.
Proficient in office operations, basic accounting procedures, computer applications, and general office organization.
High level of personal integrity, good judgment, and self-motivation.
Collaborative, team-oriented attitude aligned with the organization's Christ-centered mission.
Spiritual Expectations:
Participate in daily prayer times when at the center.
Build and lead a prayer team specifically supporting the Her Health Let’s Talk Program.
Willingness to share the gospel of Jesus Christ by word and example with all constituents.
Adhere to and uphold the organization’s Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith.
