Title: Field Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Sr. Director of Marketing

Job Description: The field marketing specialist will know how to get the most out of marketing automation systems to fuel innovative and effective marketing drip campaigns. This position will bring expertise with marketing automation systems (Salesforce, Pardot, and Outreach) to ensure these systems are efficiently linked, marketing campaigns are maximized, and leads are tracked and delivered. This position will help create content, drive sales lead and contact generation campaigns, and measure success of each campaign. In addition, this position will assist the marketing team with corporate marketing campaigns and the planning and execution of the National Sales Meeting.

Required Education/Experience: BS/BA degree in marketing or communications with 3 – 5 years of experience in marketing automation and lead generation.

Field Marketing Specialist Key Roles:

  • 3 - 5 years experience in marketing automation preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot, and Outreach platforms, or other email marketing automation tools
  • Data driven with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience creating Salesforce, Pardot, and Outreach campaigns, reports, and custom views
  • Proven experience managing email marketing campaigns
  • Strong team player and strong collaboration skills
  • Driven individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills and data analytics 

Field Marketing Specialist Primary Responsibilities:

  • Owner of the marketing and sales readiness automation tools
  • Generate marketing qualified leads that are processed as new opportunities and sent to the sales team
  • Monitor reporting for potential leads, and warm contacts
  • Work with Sales Directors and Sales Reps to define campaigns and campaign follow through
  • Manage day-to-day processes between Outreach, Pardot, Salesforce and other critical systems, and ensure they work together to produce accurate data
  • Drive improvements and innovation in relation to lead generation, and metrics with demand generation
  • Provide the team with actionable insights on where to invest in programs and campaigns
  • Implement and optimize lead scoring methodologies to ensure highest quality leads are passed and prioritized appropriately to sales for qualification
  • A/B testing of email campaigns, ads, and landing pages
  • Reporting on lead generation activity
  • Implementing daily improvement strategies across all marketing automation platforms
