Staff Training/Risk Management Coordinator 

Position Summary

Mid-Step Services, a non-profit organization serving the needs of children and adults who have intellectual disabilities, is seeking an experienced Staff Training/Risk Management Coordinator. This position will be responsible for the overall training assessment, development and implementation for all staff. This will include training and orientation of new staff, observing new and return staff to determine proper implementation of skills taught in training, and advising supervisors of training opportunities to maximize staff awareness of opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

Will track and report all training, development, and certification. 

Will assist in conducting new hire orientations.

Maintain records of incident reports, OSHA log, and files on all ongoing Worker’s Compensation claims.

Follow-up on accident/injury reports and ensuring corrective measures appropriate to prevent or minimize the potential for recurrence.

Be familiar with applicable OSHA regulations. 

Complete monthly inspections to assess safety issues.  Follow up on any issues in a timely manner. 

Professional Qualifications:

Must possess as a minimum, a degree in the Human Services or Management field. Must have one year supervisory experience and two years of relevant work experience.
