Structural Engineer

FEH Design is looking for a licensed structural engineer to work with team members across all disciplines. Excellence in communication skills and client and consultant interactions is required. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical knowledge of current analysis and software.

Responsibilities include:
This role is highly collaborative working with teams across all four office locations on projects in all different design and construction phases.

• Work with Project Managers, firm leadership, and team members across all disciplines.
• Interact with clients and consultants.
• Produce accurate technical and contract documentation.
• Mentor young professionals along their engineering career path.  

• Accredited undergraduate or master’s degree in either Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with structural emphasis, or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis.
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Licensed or able to be licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Iowa. Licensure as a Structural Engineer (SE) able to be licensed in Illinois is a plus
• Revit and RISA design suite experience. AutoCAD experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in all phases of project design, construction observation, and cost estimation
• Strong portfolio of previous projects
