Matt Ohman, SHIP Executive Director, and Gary Fuentes, BOOST Program Director, will join us to discuss the BOOST program.  BOOST is a re-entry program that works with young adults 18-24 who have been involved in the juvenile justice or adult corrections systems - non violent offenders. BOOST offers a second chance to this population to finish high school, explore postsecondary options including apprenticeships, certifications and degrees and find employment. BOOST's hope is to provide a pipeline of skilled workers to our community employers, and empower these young adults to become successful, contributing members of society.
