MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center is celebrating the expansion of their Wound Care Center. Those attending may enter the Jones Street Entrance between Sixth and Seventh Streets.

The MercyOne Siouxland Wound Clinic, which Healogics manages, has been awarded the President’s Circle for the past two years. The Siouxland location is Healogics’ most honored center for clinical and operational excellence. The recognition is only awarded to the country's top 2% of wound clinics. Healogics manages over 600 outpatient Wound Care Centers across the country.
 
"The expansion of our award-winning wound care center will have a very positive impact on the patients who need our care in this community," says Paul Johnson, MD, MercyOne Siouxland Wound Clinic medical director.
 
Additionally, Dr. Johnson said that expansion, which includes adding a new provider, Selena Meacham, ARNP, helps meet the increased volume and needs in the Siouxland Community.
