Description
Join us for a meeting of the Government Relations Committee where our speaker will be former Speaker of the Iowa House, Sioux City legislator, and founder of inSight Communications Christopher Rants who will offer his insights into the 2016 Iowa session, a review of unfinished business and a look ahead to the 2017 session.
Christopher Rants founded inSight Communications in 2009 to continue his focus on public policy and grass roots political activism. Christopher served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1993 through 2010. He served as the leader of the Republican caucus for a decade, including Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2006. He was an advisor to the Romney campaign in 2008 and was a policy consultant to the Governor Branstad campaign in 2010. This year he is serving as state chairman for the Carly Fiorina for President committee. Christopher is an Aspen Institute Rodel Fellow in Public Leadership, and serves on the board of directors of Top Level Registry Inc. as well as the Republican State Leadership Committee.
