The ribbon cutting will be held on the fourth floor. \n\n\n\nProject Overview: Their Themed Pediatric Patient Room Project started in 2015 in an effort to help our Siouxland pediatric patients take their minds away from pain\, anxiety and illness during their hospital stay. A hospital setting can be difficult for a child of any age. Being away from home is stressful\, and it can disrupt a child's life and interfere with normal development. Research shows that patients who are exposed to art during a hospital stay heal quicker and have a better overall experience. When therapeutic play is involved\, it decreases anxiety and fears in children from the time of admission to the time of discharge.\n\n \n\nSponsorship Details: A pediatric theme room sponsorship includes the following: \n\n One pediatric-themed patient room that will be transformed into a colorful and engaging room of recovery.\n Design will include paint\, flooring\, wall decals and/or murals/pictures\, theme-relevant furniture/fixtures (infection control approved) and at least one interactive element designed to encourage the patient to get up and out of bed.\n A unique and exclusive theme that will be designed around your business' preference or\, if you prefer\, selected by Children's Miracle Network.\n Your business name and/or logo is included both inside the room and also on a plaque that is displayed outside the room. \n A room dedication and ribbon cutting.
