SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting - St. Luke's College
DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate St. Luke's Colleges' new Student Success Center! \n\n\n\nSt. Luke's College was the recipient of Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) to assist in the preparation and prevention of Coronavirus\, as well as respond to it. In 2020\, when everything was shutting down and going virtual\, our students expressed concern that they did not have access to reliable internet or technology. St. Luke's College Administration made the decision to re-open its campus two weeks after it went to virtual learning so students could use the computer center and study areas. The previous library/computer center design was not conducive to social distancing and students could only use these areas during business hours at the College. Students wanted times they could come to campus during the evenings and weekends so they could study in a quiet setting. We believe these minor differences have allowed a safe environment for our students who can use the study areas and computer center 24/7.
