DESCRIPTION:Join us as Siouxland Youth Hockey celebrates their rink expansion. \n\n\n\nSiouxland Youth Hockey is celebrating it's 51st year in operation with an expansion to it's primary facility\, the IBP Ice Center. The expansion includes the addition of a girls locker room\, JV & varsity locker rooms\, coaches' locker room\, and a training center. SYHA conducted a multi-year private fundraising effort and with the assistance of a partnership with the City of Sioux City. They broke ground on the project in the summer of 2023 and completed the major construction earlier this year. SYHA hopes the expansion allows for increased participation in youth hockey\, especially with the girls hockey program. They will also take this time to recognize the 2024 USA Hockey Tier II National Champion Sioux City Metros.
