The Siouxland Pickleball Association is grateful for the City's support of pickleball\, and since that time the SPA subsequently applied for and received a generous grant from MRHD along with other financial support from businesses and individuals to purchase shade structures in the staging area between pickleball courts. Additional improvements include wind screens\, a storage box for balls\, paddles and other equipment\, and 6 new picnic tables have been ordered and should arrive soon. With over 300 members and growing in less than 2 years\, the SPA wants to continue partnering with the City and others to provide quality indoor and outdoor places to play pickleball for players of all ages in the Siouxland area.
