SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting - SHIP Siouxland Human Investment Partnership
DESCRIPTION:Join us in welcoming Siouxland Human Investment Partnership to their new location! \n\n\n\nSiouxland Human Investment Partnership (SHIP) has been an impactful non-profit organization in the Siouxland community for nearly 25 years and has been a member of the Chamber for 22 years. SHIP has been Woodbury County's Early Childhood Iowa and Decategorizaton (DCAT) Board since the beginning and offers beloved programs such as Beyond the Bell and BOOST. SHIP also provides leadership around community issues and starts collaborative community initiatives such as the Siouxland Street Project (homelessness) and 0-3: Prime Age to Engage (early literacy\, in partnership with Sioux City Schools). For all of these years\, SHIP's operating base has been located in the Northwest AEA building on Morningside Avenue. When AEA decided to move to Sgt. Bluff\, this was the perfect opportunity for SHIP to open their own standalone office\, with their own storefront! Their new office is located at 2540 Glenn Avenue.
