DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the Food Bank of Siouxland's 25th Chamber anniversary as well as their new barcoding system and equipment. Refreshments will follow. \n\n\n\nIn April\, the FBS celebrated 25 years as Siouxland Chamber of Commerce members. In early May\, the FBS will complete the implementation of a barcoding system and new warehouse equipment\, which was funded through MRHD Impact Match and Discretionary Grants. The membership with the Chamber has afforded The Food Bank of Siouxland a voice in the Chamber and greater Siouxland community\, with members of the Board of Directors and staff having held positions with the Chamber Board of Directors and as Chamber Ambassadors. MRHD has been incredibly strong in their support of the Food Bank of Siouxland's mission over the years. Many of the FBS' current systems would not be in place without the support of MRHD\, providing the Food Bank the ability to live their mission of "Leading Siouxland in the fight against hunger"\, in an effective and efficient manner.
