The first change is that the meeting dates\, April 18 and 19\, are on a Wednesday and Thursday instead of a Tuesday and Wednesday. Secondly\, in the past the event culminated with the steak dinner on Wednesday night. This year\, we will offer a steak "reception" but still on the Wednesday night. The reason for changing from a sit down dinner to a reception was that we hoped more tri-state Members of Congress could attend and our Siouxland attendees would have a better opportunity to visit with each of them. The final change is that we do not have an organized group event on Thursday night. Take advantage of this unscheduled time to have a nice dinner\, see the play 1776 at historic Ford's Theatre (7:30 p.m. curtain\, 202.347.4833) or attend the Washington National's baseball game vs. Houston Astros (7:05 p.m. start time\, 202.675.6287)\, or just relax after the hectic pace of the previous two days. \n\n \n\n TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS\n\n Each conference attendee is responsible for their own travel arrangements.The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce has secured a Zone Fare with American Eagle. To use the Zone Fare make your reservation through your travel agent or by calling 1-800-433-1790 and refer to authorization number A5242DD. \n\n \n\n ACCOMMODATIONS\n\n A block of rooms has been reserved at The Washington Court Hotel for our group at a single rate of $329. To make your reservation\, call 800-321-3010 by March 19\, 2012 and state you are with the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce. It is imperative that our conference attendees use these accommodations in order to fulfill the contract with The Washington Court Hotel. \n\n \n\n \n\n Cancellation Policy\n\n Full refunds will be made for cancellations received on or before March 19\, 2012.
