Full-Time Functional Fitness Coach & Personal Trainer

Thrive Fitness is seeking a motivated, reliable, knowledgeable and passionate CF-L1 or CF-L2 Coach. This is a part-time OR full-time position depending on the candidate. The schedule will vary depending on class times and personal training obligations. Pay will be determined by credentials and experience. Current openings for morning and mid-day classes & evening, Monday through Saturday. Additional shifts available as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Provide coaching and training to assigned groups of clients using CrossFit methodologies and to ensure safety and facilitate performance towards planned goals.

· Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of facility.

· Design and implement group warm-up and scaling options.

· Greet clients upon entering.

· Provide post-training feedback and cues for improved athlete performance.

· Provide personal training sessions as handed out by Thrive Fitness.

· Plan and implement personal training programs for clients upon request.

· Learn to use all Thrive Fitness’s software not limited to Mindbody, Fitmetrix, and Sugarwod.

· Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients to enhance their gym experience.

· Keep a level head when any type of conflict arises.

· Participate and contribute to staff meetings and staff education events.

· Perform other job duties that may arise or are deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications (must be present on resume):

· Min. of valid CF-L1 Certification but prefer a CF-L2

· Certified Personal Training Certification preferred but not necessary for the right individual

· CPR Certification

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Punctuality & Team Player

· Creative and highly motivated

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Self-learner and a knowledge seeker

· Enjoys exercising indoors and outdoor

Education Requirements

· High School Graduate.

· College Degree in a fitness field preferred but not necessary for the right individual

Compensation:

 

· Coaching of Class $20-$28/hr (depending on experience)

· Personal Training $20-$25/hr (depending on experience)

· Office Duties $12-$15 (depending on experience)

Hours:

 

· Classes Min. of 21 Classes per week

· Personal Training You will be able to start with 8 hours per week (more are available per week)

· Office: 0-6 for the right person
