Job Description
The full-time Operations Manager is responsible for the management of guest and volunteer services and day-to-day management of the facility and program.  The Manager is also responsible for creating a culture of hospitality and compassion at the Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland, its kitchens and its lunch program.  In addition, the Manager will help with creatively growing the programs and helping plan special awareness and fundraising events.
M-F 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will include nights and weekends, on occasion.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2-year Associate degree, or 2+ years of related job experience
  • Staff supervision and scheduling experience required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds while going up and downstairs
  • Ability to do cleaning
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High ethical standards
  • Interest in working with families of critically ill children
  • Compassionate with a positive and optimistic outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Events planning and/or fundraising experience are a plus
  • Background and MVR check required
            Salary commensurate with experience

            90-day probationary period
