Director of Guest Care & Operations
Our Director of Guest Care and Operations will oversee the entire operations of the hotel. Operations include human resources, housekeeping, security, public relations, food service, sales and finances. It is the hotel operations manager's job to deal effectively with guests, fellow team members and superiors while keeping the hotel running smoothly.
At Sioux City Hotel, the ideal candidate will be involved in the repositioning of the hotel to an independent brand focused on exceptional Guest Care. Additionally, the Director of Guest Care and Operations will have the unique experience of being involved in the renovation of the hotel to an upscale national brand.
Willingness to learn, adapt and advance are key attributes of an ideal candidate. Previous hotel experience in managing Front Office and/or Sales is an added attribute we are looking for but not required. University education commensurate with the job description could be a plus but not required – we will consider work experience.
