Food Service Manager
• Under the guidance of the Store Manager, ensures that all Company personnel and store operations policies and procedures are maintained to meet Company standards. • Assists in establishing work schedules as outlined by Store Support Center guidelines to assure that all work assignments are covered each day for the kitchen, filling in where necessary. • Assists Store Manager in hiring decisions, team member training, and performance evaluations management; monitors the work activity of kitchen team members and recommends Corrective Action, collaborating with upper management to review and issue it to a team member when warranted. • Responsible for all kitchen product quality. Assesses and takes action to ensure all products are prepared to standard. • Manages guest concerns related to prepared food quality or kitchen team member guest service. Keeps the Store Manager informed of all guest concerns. • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, hot and cold beverage area and snack area. Maintains the cleaning schedule for all equipment. • Responsible for ordering and receiving prepared food items. Enters production planner data on the Manager’s Workstation (MWS). • Conducts orientation, paperwork and initial training for new kitchen team members, including delivery drivers. Completes and signs the training guide and evaluation forms and submits to the Store Manager upon completion. • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
