Instruct classes and labs from all partnering Pathways 2 Tomorrow (P2T) institutions in the area of welding and welding related coursework as assigned by the Dean of Applied Technology.
Develop and deliver training courses (credit or non-credit) for the workforce in Northeast 20 county territory as assigned by Associate Vice President (AVP) of the Center for Enterprise.
Collaborate with and advise the Center for Enterprise Account Executives as the Subject Matter Expert while promoting Northeast industry training programs.
The Welding Trainer will be responsible for classroom and laboratory training in basic and advanced welding skills, workplace expectations and safe work practices, protective clothing, proper use of welding tools and equipment and proper materials handling.
This position will typically work 40 hours per week with occasional nights and weekends; travel may be required contingent on training needs of Northeast business and industry partners/clients.
