Retail Services Specialist II SSC - PT

The purpose of this position is to assist with college store operations primarily at the South Sioux City location and serve as a resource for part-time staff. This is accomplished with knowledge of the point-of-sale system to perform all cash register processes, cash handling procedures and associated functions; of software applications for comprehensive merchandise and textbook purchasing, selling, and inventory procedures; providing customer service; and the ability to perform and prioritize tasks with limited supervision and complete work as a team member or independently. Travel may be required to other campuses. Performs other duties as assigned by store managers.

A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred.      
Requires a minimum of one year of experience in a business related field; retail or banking experience is desired.

This position requires standard computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite; and intermediate math skills with ability to deal with a system of real numbers; experience as a cashier or bank teller is a plus.
