Job Description

The purpose of this position is to assist the Director with daily administrative support.  This is accomplished by processing payroll for Adult Education employees, tracking budget expenses, and notifying the Director of the status of such expenses, ordering supplies and books for instructors, completing volunteer reports monthly, working with instructors to schedule students for classes and testing, and coordinating recognition night for students.  Other duties include answering the telephone and answering questions from prospective students, processing incoming and outgoing mail for the department.  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associate degree preferred.  Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
