Wayne State College is seeking an Accountant!

Nature of Work: Assembles and analyzes data and transactions, prepares statements and reports relating to an assigned area of responsibility.

Examples of Work Performed:

Audit travel expense reimbursements
Coordinate surplus property listings, sales, and disposals
Reconciles various accounts
General Accounting Functions
Assist with yearend audit reports
Prepare ACH
Prepare IBT
Makes journal entries for deposits
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/related field; or an Associate’s degree in accounting/related field plus three years of related experience.
