Adjunct Instructor - Electrical Construction and Control

Job Description
This part-time position will instruct courses and labs related to electrical construction and control principles as assigned by the Dean, while demonstrating and promoting strong safety practices. This position will also assist in the development of curriculum and program activities. This is accomplished by maintaining requisite office hours; providing academic advisement to students; attending meetings; participating in professional development activities; and performing all instructional-related activities as directed within the policies, guidelines, and regulations of Northeast Community College.
Bachelor’s degree or an Associate degree and a combination of licensure and/or certification at a Journeyman’s level or higher in the field in addition to a minimum of five years of work experience in electrical installation and/or maintenance required.
Requires a strong knowledge of electrical principles with a profound knowledge of electrical codes, wiring methods, and electrical safety. Ability to develop and use effective organization and work procedures. Experience in education/training is desired.
